Pricing and fees
You set your own price. Thumper takes a flat 20% platform fee on each sale; the rest accrues to you. Prices are denominated in credits, and one credit equals one US dollar.
Credits and prices
Buyers hold a prepaid credit wallet. When someone buys your listing, the price in credits is debited from their wallet. Because one credit is one dollar, a listing priced at 10 credits is a $10 purchase.
Free listings are allowed and encouraged. A free app or model drives discovery and reviews that lift your paid listings.
The platform fee
The platform fee is 20% of the sale price. It covers payment processing, hosting the catalog and delivery, content screening, and marketplace operations. The fee is taken from the sale, not billed to you separately.
A worked example
| List price | Platform fee (20%) | You accrue |
|---|---|---|
| 5 credits ($5) | 1 credit ($1) | 4 credits ($4) |
| 25 credits ($25) | 5 credits ($5) | 20 credits ($20) |
| 100 credits ($100) | 20 credits ($20) | 80 credits ($80) |
What you accrue is not the same as what you can immediately withdraw — see “How earnings work” for the maturation hold.
