Becoming a seller
Selling on Thumper takes three steps: accept the seller agreement, start Stripe onboarding, and create a listing. You can do all three in a few minutes, and you can start listing before onboarding is fully finished.
Overview
Open the marketplace and choose the “Sell on Thumper” tab. You will be asked to accept the seller agreement and enter the country your business is based in. From there Thumper creates a Stripe Express connected account for you and hands you a hosted onboarding link.
The seller agreement
Before you can accrue any earnings you must accept the current seller agreement. It includes the agent-of-payee terms and a required clawback consent — the consent that lets Thumper recoup refunded amounts from your balance under the uniform refund policy.
If the agreement version changes later, your dashboard will ask you to re-accept it. New sales cannot accrue until you do.
Stripe onboarding
After you apply, follow the hosted Stripe link to verify your identity and connect a payout bank account. This is standard Stripe Express onboarding. You can leave and come back — your progress is saved, and your dashboard shows where you are in the process.
What Stripe collects
Identity details, business information where applicable, a payout bank account, and your tax form (W-9 in the US, W-8 series elsewhere). Completing onboarding is what eventually unlocks payouts.
Your first listing
Once you have accepted the agreement you can create a listing for an app or a model pack you have published. Set a title and a price in credits. App listings go live as soon as they pass content screening; model packs additionally pass a license-and-attestation gate before activating.
Key Takeaways
- Accept the seller agreement (includes clawback consent) before anything can accrue.
- Stripe custodies your tax and bank details; Thumper mirrors only a status.
- You can list and earn before onboarding is finished; payouts wait for verification.
